You bet you can tour. We do work four ten hour days and then let the shop go dark for three days including Friday but the office staff is there and we can show you 30's in production. How about calling us to set something up for Friday? 207 594 8821

I too hope to be a back cove owner one day and look forward to come and tour the facility in Rockport.

Thanks for the open invite and looking forward to cruising the main coast.

Thanks,
Andrew

Jim nice to hear from you. We would always appreciate a little head's up before a visit if that is possible. We work four x ten hour days, Monday through Thursday at Back Cove, a common pratice in boatbuilding shops of the mid-coast.
We love showing off our process and our associates really like to speak to our visitors about their roles.

On a recent trip to Rockland for a schooner cruise, we saw a Back Cove on trailer traveling South. Turns out it was the new 30. Remembering Back Cove was in Rockland, a few clicks on the iPhone and a gps plot, we arrived unannounced at the factory door near closing time. We were greeted warmly and saw the new 30 on the production line along side a 33. Highly recommend seeing the factory and understanding what makes this a great boat. Thanks from a future owner.
